FAQ
OpenWeatherMap provides weather forecast information for most habitable locations on earth, so the forecast should be available.
There is a "Locations" item on the opening screen. Touching the "+" button on the "Locations" screen will allow you to enter any town to obtain its local forecast. Be as specific as possible when entering the location to get the town you intended - for instance include a country identifier or, in the US, the state code. Zip and post codes should also work.
From the list of locations, delete the one that is wrong and try entering it again. This time be more specific in the location details, such as including a region, state, or county.
The local satellite image is provided by a satellite that crosses the globe every 24 hours, and it may not have reached your location yet. If this is the case, a black screen is shown. Please try again later. The wide-area satellite images are provided by geostationary satellites that may be updating when you access them and present a black screen. The image should be available in a few minutes.
