Most application problems can be solved by either restarting the device or reloading the application from the app store.

• My subscription renewed automatically. Why doesn't my iOS device recognize it?

This can happen occasionally after an app update or iOS update. Please select "Restore Purchases" from the settings menu.

• Why is NASA imagery dark in places?

Yes. NASA imagery is provided by satellites which circumnavigate the globe every 24 hours. If an area of the earth is dark for the current date, the satellite hasn't passed by that part of the world yet.

• How can I remove placemarks or annotations I've added?

Deselecting the placemark or annotation in the placemarks table will remove it from the display.

• Why is the "News" section empty?

This section shows RSS news feeds you have added to Earth++. To add a news feed, click the + button at the top right hand corner and enter the name and URL of your desired news feed. Earth++ will use artificial intelligence to parse the news data and apply geospatial context to it so it can be positioned on the globe.

• Why is the "Imported Layers" section empty?

Earth++ can import kml (Google Earth) and geoJSON files from your device. If you import any of these files, they will show in this section so you can apply them to the globe.

• Can I get more information about the icon locations?

Touch the icon at the location you are interested in and an annotation or web page will pop up giving more detail.
